


Beginning Intermediate Wheel 2
| the basics
Prerequisite: Beginning Wheel 1

Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-8:30 pm for 8 weeks.
Class runs August 19 through October 9.

Class limited to 6 students
Registration: $50
If registration is open, placement is likely but not guaranteed. Any student not placed will be added to the programs wait list in the order of the earliest registration. Given this, registration may not open to the general public every semester. Placement is generally confirmed within three (3) business days of registration.
Tuition: One (1) payment of $490 or (2) monthly payments installments of $269. Payment in full saves 10%.
Tuition will be billed once placement is confirmed. Billing is due Net 30 from the invoice date.

Beginning/Intermediate Wheel 2: This class is for beginner to intermediate students who have already taken Wheel (1). Wheel (2) will build upon students’ foundational skills and challenge you to create new and more complex forms like pitchers, creamers and other vessels that pour, in addition to “thrown and altered pieces,” lidded forms, stacked forms, and sets. Students may repeat this section before moving on to the next section if needed.

Students are welcome to bring snack and drinks but are asked to take any food trash with them at the end of class. Empty and clean recyclable containers may be left behind.
Students should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty.
Clay tools and 25 lb. Clay included with tuition. Additional clay may be purchased for $30 per bag.
As students master skills at their own pace, multiple sessions may be required to learn all beginner/intermediate skills.
Student work is fired to Cone 6.
