| Participants & Teachers The participants come from 35 towns in Maine, so you’ll meet lots of people with interests like yours. We welcome youth of all levels of ability and experience. You’ll find friends here who have great imaginations like yours. Our professional artist-teachers are freelance artists and performers, some of whom teach in public schools. They are creative, fun people who will make you feel right at home from the first minute. They will support and encourage your ideas and creations, and challenge you to think in new ways. Fees Total fee for registrations postmarked by June 10: $150 ($10 deposit with registration form; $140 balance due by June 10). Total fee for registrations postmarked after June 10: $170. No refunds after June 20. Sliding & reduced fees For families who cannot afford the full fee, we can arrange a reduced fee. On the registration form, you can indicate how much you can pay. Please enclose a note explaining your request for a reduced fee. Special Fees to Attend Half Days If you have to attend summer school or have a job that makes it necessary for you to come to Foothills Summer Arts for just part of each day, we can arrange a lower fee for you. Food You will bring snacks and a bag lunch. Buses & Carpools We’ll give you a list of people interested in carpooling. SAD 36 will provide a bus both weeks for students in the Jay-Livermore area.
